We love to see the amazing impact on each of you as CrossFitters over the course of the 30-day Challenge...so jump into this commitment with your Lifeworx community and let us help you kickstart a  healthy year!
Every Paleo Challenge ends with your coaches choosing one male and one female winner - we analyze your data, consider your fitness scores  and observe your overall commitment to the Challenge during the 30-day period, ultimately revealing our winners!

To be eligible to win, you must:

3. eat completely Paleo for 30 days!

Paleo Lifestyle

What's the Scoop?
At CrossFit Lifeworx, we do not require that you adopt the Paleo Lifestyle into your own lifestyle. If, however, you are ready for change and you are looking for the most efficient eating habits that will compliment your CrossFit regimen, then the Paleo Lifestyle will help you to reach and surpass your fitness goals.

Why Should I Paleo?
Athletes who adopt the Paleo Lifestyle learn how to effectively fuel their bodies for performance by eliminating processed foods and reducing their overall caloric intake. This does not mean you have to count calories – you simply have to learn to eat differently. Eating Paleo will clean out your system and help you to regulate your hormone levels, allowing you to perform at the peak of your ability before, during and after your workouts. Most athletes who commit to the Paleo lifestyle will see significant bodily changes (both internal and external) within the first 4-6 months.

How Do I Paleo?
Traditional Paleo guidelines encourage consumption of raw and natural foods, free of refined and processed complex carbohydrates that slow down the digestive system and are ultimately deemed useless in the process of turning food into energy. These raw and natural foods typically consist of lean protein sources (lean beef, fish, poultry and wild game) paired with a variety of nuts, fruits and vegetables. We suggest that you avoid dairy products, sugars, refined carbs, processed foods and starchy vegetables.

Who Should Paleo?
Everyone should Paleo! Remember: it’s a lifestyle, not a diet. It is, essentially, what we are evolved to eat. All members of your family or your circle of friends can benefit from adopting Paleo lifestyle habits. It’s never too early or too late to train your metabolism and your digestive system to be more efficient. Put the right fuel in your bodies and you’ll notice significant changes in the way you feel and the way you perform. Before you know it, Paleo will be easy to do and you will notice your cravings for refined and processed foods will subside. Encourage anyone to jump on the bandwagon today!

The info provided above should help you transition from the pattern of eating a diet of polluted foods, to eating a diet filled with clean foods. There is no “quick-fix” to changing your eating habits; you simply have to put the time and commitment into reshaping the way you approach your meals, respect the transition process and appreciate how quickly your body will turn into an efficient machine.
